Jazz/ Pop legend Tony Bennett is teaming up with the queen of eccentric pop Lady Gaga, for a series of live performances including the Concord Pavilion on Thursday 28th May 2015. The "Cheek to Cheek" Tour will see the pair perform solo and duets from the critical acclaimed album "Cheek to Cheek". The news arrives on the heels of a sold out New Years show and Albert Hall supporting the Wellchild charity! Tickets are up now!
This won't be the first time the duo have performed together, they often team up for swing duets and jazz material.
In a press release, Bennett says, “What I really love about being a jazz singer is that jazz artists are very creative, very honest, from phrase to phrase.” Gaga explains, “We wanted to make something that sounded perfect because of the quality of the emotion…the honesty.”
