Get ready for a wonderful night of blues as Elvin Bishop, Taj Farrant, Ana Popovic, DK Harrell, Tommy Castro, and Chris Cain share the stage in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Concord Pavilion, now known as the Toyota Pavilion. A benefit concert in support of music for kids as well as the 50th anniversary of Blue Bear School of Music, it's not only a showcase of blues music, but a night of great impact for hearts that beat for beautiful notes. 

Ticket proceeds will benefit the Blue Bear School of Music and the Jefferey Marshall Arts Foundation, providing support for disabled musicians. Your participation in this event isn't just about turning up for a blues concert, but being part of something bigger - sharing hope for people who dream to live out their potential as a musician. No disability can hinder one's passion for music, and your presence shares much appreciated impact.

A Day of Big Blues

Hosted by Dan Ashley and Mickel Londo, there's lots to enjoy in this packed day in celebration of blue music. They'll be starting the day with some local blues acts - be sure to support homegrown talent! The Blue Bear All Star teen bands will also be given a chance to shine on stage, letting these young hearts share their talent. Next, there'll be performances by the Breedloves and Friends - with chances for students in the community to join them on stage.

Later in the afternoon, headliners will start taking the stage for much-awaited performances of the most authentic blues jams, rockin' blues anthems, and even a couple of funky blues masterpieces. 

The Headlining Acts

• Elvin Bishop - Performing since the '60s, the man is known for his roster of chart-topping blues hits, including "Fooled Around and Fell in Love" which hit #3 on the Hot 100. Some of his best songs include "Sure Feels Good", "Fishin'", "Struttin' My Stuff", "Let It Flow", and many more. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band and as a solo artistry on the Blues Hall of Fame, he sure is a living legend of the genre today.
• Taj Farrant - The Australian guitarist has become known for his outstanding capabilities at a young age, going viral on social media for his impressive skills. Known for rock and blues covers, the artist has taken his creativity to the next level with his very own album "Chapter One" featuring both covers and original tracks. A promising rising star, we're looking at the future of music.
• Ana Popovic - This blues and rock guitarist is acclaimed for her high-energy sets and genre-bending musical style that packs layers of funk, jazz, rock, and soul in a wonderful blues serving. Though she departs from traditional blues, her style is well received by critics and fans, with everyone stomping along for more. Nominated for various awards in Blues music and being the only female guitarist to take part in the "Experience Hendrix" tour, Popopvic sure is a growing legend in the industry.
• DK Harrell - This rising star is known for his impressive guitar skills and soulful vocals. Receiving the "B.B. King of the Blues Award", his role in preserving the heritage of traditional blues is no ordinary feat. In 2023, he released his debut album "The Right Man".
• Tommy Castro - This blues, R&B, and rock artist has become a prominent figure in contemporary blues. Serving energy-packed performances and memorable tunes, he's got numerous hits to his name. Blending notes of soul, funk, and classic rock in his contemporary flavor of blues music, he's won various awards including Blues Music Awards and the B.B. King Entertainer of the Year title.
• Chris Cain - This musician is known for his jazz-infused style of blues music. Among some of the most respected figures in the community, he's an inspiration to many aspiring artists in blues music. With astounding technique in his guitar skills and alluring jazz-infused riffs, he's got a tone said to resemble that of B.B. King and Albert King. From his 1987 album "Late Night City" to his latest release "Good Intentions Gone Bad", he shares mastery and passion in every note.
