Chicago are an epic rock band made up of Robert Lamm (keyboards, lead and backing vocals), Lee Loughnane (trumpet, flugelhorn, and backing vocals), James Pankow (trombone and backing vocals), Walfredo Reyes Jr. (drums), Ray Herrmann (saxophones, flute, clarinet, and backing vocals, Neil Donell (lead and backing vocals), Ramon "Ray" Yslas (percussion and congas), Tony Obrohta (lead guitar and backing vocals), Loren Gold (keyboards, and backing and lead vocals), and Eric Baines (bass and backing vocals). This brass-heavy group effortlessly blends rock, jazz, and pop. They’re the legends behind the smash hits like "Saturday in the Park," "Make Me Smile," and " Beginnings." The current members include Verdine White (bass and backing vocals), Philip Bailey Sr. (lead vocals, conga, percussion, and kalimba), Ralph Johnson (percussion and backing vocals), B. David Whitworth (percussion and vocals), Myron McKinley (keyboards and musical director), John Paris (drums and vocals), Philip Bailey Jr. (vocals and percussion), Morris O'Connor (lead guitar and vocals), and Serg Dimitrijevic (rhythm guitar and vocals). Some of the epic albums to come out of their reign as one of the best-selling music artists of all time are "Head to the Sky" and "Open Our Eyes" (1974). They catapulted into mainstream success in 1975 with their impressive seventh studio album, "That's the Way of the World".
