Journey & The Pretenders [CANCELLED] at Concord Pavilion

Journey are one of those bands that will never be forgotten, with their epic catalogue of some of the greatest ballads and chart topping hits of all time – it''s pretty clear to see why. As they started their career back in 1973, they became well known on the local San Francisco scene and progressed to the mainstream pretty early on with their major break during 1978-1987. Of course one of their biggest years to date came around in 1981 with their worldwide famous hit song, Don't Stop Believin. A song that has never really been left behind as it later became re-famous in 2015 with the help of the American TV show, Glee… as the cast sang and performed the song on one of the episodes, who knew that it would push the song back into the charts and gain it a number three spot on the iTunes downloads! The track also pushed Journey back into the limelight and fans were wanting to see them live in concert, more than ever before!

Together Journey have topped the charts countlessly throughout the years, their studio album Escape which included other singles such as "Open Arms" became a major success for the group and then just a few years later with their next album Frontiers which paved way to their ever growing US fan base as it hit the second spot on the Billboard Album charts. They have had non-stop success and are known to be one of the most successful bands of all time!
